1994-2012
The Beginning of Diversity
Born in educational hub of India, my childhood was marked by constant movement as my family relocated across six states due to my father's profession. Each new environment brought a rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and cuisines, shaping my adaptability and fostering a deep appreciation for diversity.
2013-2017
The Creative Spark
Enrolling in the IT branch at IIIT Bhubaneswar, I initially followed my brother’s path without a clear direction in design.
However, my college years became a time of discovery and growth. The “1000 Eyes Project” with the Photogeek Club was a defining moment—it was a challenging endeavor that required solving multiple problems, from planning and coordination to creatively presenting the eyes of a thousand students and professors as one visually captivating large eye. This project pushed me to think critically and create at scale, teaching me the value of problem-solving and how the design and creative thinking process play a critical role in crafting impactful solutions.
This experience sparked my realization of how design plays a critical role in our digital world, blending creativity, empathy, and function to solve real problems. It also fueled my growing interest in design and web development, motivating me to explore the intersection of technology and human-centric design.
The “1000 Eyes Project” not only resonated deeply with participants but also shaped my journey, laying the foundation for my passion for creating impactful, user-focused solutions.
2018-2022
Transition to Design
I embarked on a transformative journey from engineering to design within an MNC, initially unaware of the career possibilities in design. As an engineer turned designer, my path shifted when I discovered a deep passion for solving problems through design.
Early in my career, I had the opportunity to explore various facets of design, such as prototyping and wireframing, while applying my technical background. This hands-on experience revealed the immense potential of UX design, leading to a decisive transition that shaped my career.
This shift redefined my career, enabling me to optimize processes, improve product efficiency, and align solutions with business goals. It marked the beginning of a rewarding journey blending creativity and strategy to deliver impactful solutions.
2023-Present
Embracing New Challenges
In pursuit of growth, I strategically transitioned to a new company, collaborating with diverse clients and expanding my design expertise. By focusing on user needs and delivering value-driven solutions, I have contributed significantly to two key clients’ success. Beyond client work, I actively mentor aspiring designers, helping them navigate the intricacies of UX and secure their first roles in the industry. Having worked closely with a product-focused client, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for the potential of UX in shaping impactful and scalable solutions. Moving forward, I aim to engage more with product-driven environments to further explore and contribute to their transformative possibilities.
Future Goals
I aspire to become the go-to problem solver in high-stakes situations—a trusted figure whom people turn to for solutions, regardless of where I am at that moment. This vision fuels my commitment to developing deeper UX expertise and crafting impactful solutions to real-world challenges. By continuously expanding my knowledge and refining my skills, I aim to build trust and make meaningful contributions in critical, high-pressure scenarios.
